Come join us as we celebrate EarthDay all week long with movies, discussions and a gathering of community on campus to share ideas, passions and solutions for a sustainable and prosperous future for Kauai.

Our first EarthDay event will be a screening of the film, Establishing A Food Forest on Monday April 16 at 6:00pm in Room 114 of the Electronic Technology Building.

The 80 minute documentary details the work of Geoff Lawton, a permaculturist from Australia, who sets out to create abundance and restore vitality to the land and those who steward it. Jill Richardson and Paul Massey from Regenerations Botanical Garden in partnership with KCC’s Ho’ouluwehi program will be on hand to provide insight and inspiration on how you can help create an abundance of food resources through similar permaculture design principles and activities on Kaua’i.
