A free showing of the documentary by Catherine Bauknight, "Hawaii- A Voice for Sovereignty" on Sunday March 28th at 1pm at the Kapaa NC Auditoriun.
The movie features cultural practioners like Clifford Nae'ole, musicians like Willy K., hula dancers, political activists like Haunani-Kay Trask, fishermen and farmers from Maui and Moloka'i and the working homeless.
The movie is a winner of several film awards including being the Best Documentary of the 2009 International Film and Video Festival in New York. The free event is being sponsored by Manaoha and discussion will follow the movie with refreshments also being served.
